This listing is for a beautiful made to order custom red elm dining desk. This desk can be ordered in a variety of sizes. Please review the variation dropdown for size options The finished desk can be ordered from 36"-72" wide and is approximately 30" tall depending on the slab. Slabs are 1.5"-2.25" thick.
The pictures listed are an example of a finished custom table. Your table will be similar; however, each piece of wood is unique and different in its own way. So, no two tables made from natural wood will be the same. Variations are to be expected. Each table comes with a set of hairpin legs or tube black metal legs to give the coffee table the Mid Century Modern look.
If there are any splits, cracks, or voids, they will be filled in with black epoxy resin to stabilize the slab. All tabletops are sanded to 180 grit and finished with a high-end wood finish called Rubio Monocoat. Rubio Monocoat is a plant-based, hard-wax oil that is 0% VOC. As the name implies, in 1 coat you'll get color and protection for your wood. This results in a durable, water-resistant finish, all while keeping the natural look and feel of the wood.
Glue ups: Our goal is to source single slabs, but live edge furniture over 24” wide could be a bookmatched glue-up. This means two slabs will be glued together to look like one slab. A single slab can be requested, but only guaranteed for an additional charge. Please message prior to purchasing.
Tables have threaded inserts installed into the tabletop with mounting hardware included to attach the legs. Legs are detached for shipping and will need to be reassembled upon arrival using only a screwdriver.
