General Description

Brand new Sugar Amethyst from Zambia. This is a unique section of the deposit which has a basal pale Amethyst colour which is then capped with an optic to near optic clear white beautiful crystalline surface. There is a degree of frosting around the basal sections of the clusters which tend to be somewhat plate and somewhat complex vug like in few instances. A number of the specimens show phantom like structures of Amethyst inside the optic clear crystals. A very nice and unique form of Amethyst / Quartz with a dynamic mix of features and hues.
